The best of Lanka | Photo diary + 50sec video

After writing ''A Sri Lankan Reunion'' I realized there were so many stories to share with you and I just couldn't put all my experiences in to words. 

So I'm gonna let my photos speak for themselves. From the amazing Dambulla Temple to tasting tea at the tea factory, a spice garden and meeting a Lankan witch doctor. It was all happening and still going...

The tooth relic temple in Kandy and the next day amazing waterfalls, trainrides cross country to Ella, hiking Little Adams Peak and holding snakes to seeing elephants, crocs and more at the Yala National park.

It was so much we needed a lot of time to take it all in. Staying at the Talalla Retreat was the best place to absolutely chill. Yoga at 7am, breakfast, a 100m walk to the beach for a bodysurf and hang at the pool for the rest of the day with a few cold ones.

Tuk tuks took us to Matara, Weligama and Mirissa. But our most favorite place was Hiriketiya beach. Good coffee, fun surf all day and amazing food! That's how we spend our last 2 weeks of the trip and we found ourselves in complete serenity...
